What services do you offer?

We offer 3D andl live 4D ultrasound imaging to provide a positive experience for parents and family. We also offer baby pictures and keepsake DVD videos.

Does this replace my doctor's ultrasound?

This will not replace your doctor's ultrasound. Before having a 3D/4D ultrasound with 4D Prenatal Imaging, you must already have undergone a medical diagnostic ultrasound and be receiving prenatal care with a healthcare provider.

Is 3D/4D ultrasound safe? Are there any risks to me, or my baby?

Over three decades of extensive studies have shown that ultrasound has not caused fetal or maternal harm. Routine diagnostic ultrasound imaging has become a normal procedure of all pregnancies. 3D/4D ultrasound uses the same intensity of ultrasonic waves in a traditional 2D ultrasound.

Do I need an appointment for a 3D/4D ultrasound?

Yes, appointments are necessary for all of our services. For same day appointments, please call to check availability at 305-662-9656.

How long does a 3D/4D ultrasound session take?

Depending on the package you select, the session will last between 25 to 30 minutes. However, we require 10 to 15 minutes for registration and 10 to 15 minutes after the session for selecting pictures and formatting the DVD/CD.

When is the best time to have a 3D/4D ultrasound?

We recommend having the 3D/4D ultrasound performed between 23 and 36 weeks. However, excellent images can be obtained anytime after 16 weeks. Many mothers select our 2-visit Platinum Package to see the baby's growth between 20 and 27 weeks and again between 28 and 36 weeks.

Will I get beautiful 3D ultrasound pictures?

In most cases you will. Every baby scans differently, depending on the gestational age, position, amount of fluid, placental location and mother's body habitus. However, we promise to make every effort to obtain the best images.

Can I bring family and friends to the 3D/4D ultrasound session?

Yes. We encourage you to invite family and friends to attend. This is a wonderful and educational experience that will last a lifetime. Our scanning room sits comfortably up to 7 guests. They will be able to watch the session being performed on a large screen.

When can you determine the gender of my baby?

Gender can be determined as early as 16 weeks with a 2D ultrasound. However, if the baby is uncooperative during the ultrasound session and we are unable to confirm gender, we will re-schedule for a complimentary visit at a later date.

Does insurance cover the 3D/4D ultrasound?

Insurance does not cover a 3D/4D ultrasound, It is an elective procedure and is not intended to be a replacement for your physician ordered ultrasound. You will need to pay this as an out of pocket expense.

Who will perform the 3D/4D ultrasound?

Ultrasound sessions are performed by certified technicians.
